TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS TO VISIT PARADISE
A Negative Covid RT PCR COVID 19 Test is required for anyone entering the Bahamas.The test must be taken within 5 days or less of your arrival date. Your test date is considered day zero. If you will already be in Bahamas and moving on to Kamalame Cay, a negative Covid RT PCR test result is required within 3 days of visiting the Cay.
Submit the form and negative COVID swab test to travel.gov.bs for a travel card which will be emailed within 72 hours. On the day of travel, have copies of your COVID test, Travel Card, and Passport.
If a rapid antigen test is required to return to your country of origin, this can be administered on the Cay at a rate of US$50 pp cash only. Test results available within 30 min

Kamalame Cay Private Island & Residences Rates

Kamalame Cay offers a range of oceanfront accommodations, including cozy beach bungalows, cottage suites and spacious two- to four-bedroom villas.

    • All Resort accommodations are priced for 2 adults.
    • All two (2) Bedroom Villas or larger, are priced to accommodate 2 guests per bedroom.
    • 32% Taxes and Gratuities are additional to all accommodation rates
    • The Cay will be closed from August 30 - November 4, 2021.
    • High Season is December 15 – April 30 and Low Season is May 1 – December 14; annually.
    • There will be a 5-night minimum stay from December 23, 2021– January 2, 2022, and a 3-night minimum stay for all other dates.
    • All Goods and Services will attract a 12% value-added tax. This is subject to change without notice.
    • Standard Suite guests will have a 15% gratuity charge added to their Food and Beverage bill at the end of their stay.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

To confirm your reservation we require a 40% non-refundable deposit, with the 60% non-refundable balance due 15 days prior to your arrival. Because of our strict no refund policy, we highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, offered through companies such as www.travelexinsurance.com. There will be no refunds for late arrivals, premature departure or otherwise unused days including those related to weather, aircraft changes and or delays. In the event of a cancellation more than one month prior to your arrival date, the money collected will be used as a credit towards a future stay with us, within one year of your original arrival date. If you should need to cancel your stay, change your dates or reduce the number of nights of your stay within one month of your arrival, there will be a change fee applied, equivalent to 20% of your original booking total.
Hurricane Policy: In the event of resort closure due to a hurricane, we will credit Guests for a future stay, equal to the number of affected nights and on the same basis as originally planned. The penalty for revising will be waived. Travel must be completed within 365 days from the original date of travel.
