Frequently Asked Questions When should I arrive for my booking?
Be sure to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled booking to allow sufficient time to check in , complete any necessary paperwork and be sized up for your equipment. Please be advised that your booking will end on time so that the next guest is not inconvenienced.
What if I need to cancel my reservations?
Because all of your services are personally reserved for you, we ask that you notify us at least 2 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any cancellations made less than 2 hours prior to scheduled time will result in a charge of 50% of the service. No-shows are charged in full.
May I bring my valuables?
We recommend that you leave your valuables in the safe provided in your guest room. The Dive Centre does not assume liability for any valuables.
Is there a minimum age requirement?
The minimum age for certain diving courses is either 8 years old or 10 years old. There is no maximum age! Children under 15 years old will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
How fit do I need to be?
A reasonable standard of health is required for all our activities. All courses require a self certified medical to be completed and a copy of the medical can be found in our resources section. Please review this as, if you were to answer yes to any of the questions a signed medical is required before a course can commence. We recommend that you download this medical form, take this to your physician for completion and bring the completed form with you to Kamalame.
What do we need to bring with us?
Nothing bar bathing costume, sun cream, hat and glasses. Equipment, fresh towels and chilled drinks will be provided.
Is there a service charge added to my bookings?
Bookings are not charged any additional percentage; however a gratuity for exemplary service is discretionary.
