Diving Courses at Kamalame

Always wondered what the attraction was? Not sure if you want to do a formal course? Try a Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) Experience.
A DSD consists of a little theory and a session in the pool, all within approximately ½ a day and if you then want to do more you can carry on and experience an open water dive. The good news - if you like it and decide to take a course with us then these sessions count!
Minimum age 10. Depth limited to 12 metres/40 feet. All tuition and equipment is provided.
PADI Scuba Diver - this is your chance to become a qualified diver in as little as three days! On completion of this course you will receive a worldwide recognised certification which will allow you to dive to a depth of 12 metres/ 40 feet under the direct supervision of a PADI professional.
The course involves some self study, three pool sessions and two open water dives.
Open Water Diver - on completion of this the most popular PADI program you will receive a world wide recognised qualification, allowing you to dive to a depth of 18 metres/ 60 feet, with someone of the same level or higher.
This program takes approximately five days and involves five study sessions, five pool sessions and four open water dives.
The alternative – if you cannot spare five days is PADI’s e-learning programme which reduces the course time to three to four days. Already a Scuba Diver – well now is the time to upgrade your certification to Open Water Diver with little effort.
This program takes approximately two days and involves two study sessions, two pool sessions and two open water dives.
Minimum age 10. All equipment hire, tuition and certification are included. Students will need to bring their Open Water Manual and log book with them.

Learn how to become certified to dive safely to a depth of 40 metres/ 130 feet - 4 open water dives Minimum qualification ' Adventure Diver'. Minimum age – 15
Digital Underwater Photography Speciality – Level 1
Learn the basics of taking underwater photos - 1 open water dive/ snorkel Open to – Snorkellers, Open Water students and Certified Divers
Minimum age for Snorkellers – none for Divers – 10 (Please note that digital cameras are not provided.)

Search & Recovery Speciality

Underwater Naturalist Speciality
